The North Myrtle Beach Band of Chiefs is the most visually seen group in the area. They perform at every football game and compete among other Horry and state groups. Students perform at Pep Rallies as well as perform for live events. Students practice over the summer to prepare for the fall events. The Marching Band has also performed at volleyball and basketball games to pep up the NMB crowd.
Grades Included: Open to 7th and 8th graders. An interest meeting will be held in the spring and a Band Camp will be held in the summer prior to the school year alongside the High School students.
Meetings: Held after school at the high school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. Students are expected to be in attendance at football games and competitions.
