Principal's Message

Greetings Chief Community,

It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to serve you and this community as the  Principal of North Myrtle Beach Middle (NMBM) School. I have worked in the middle school for many years as a math teacher, an assistant principal, and as a Principal. I welcome countless opportunities for us to work in partnership to support the academic and adolescent years for your child. The middle school years are exciting yet a challenging time for students, but with the help of you, our premiere teachers, and myself we will be able to ensure a successful school experience.

As a new school year begins, everyone is motivated to do better than the previous year. To make this a reality, we invite everyone to set goals and benchmarks towards achieving those goals. This year we are focusing on our Rise With Reading movement as we support Literacy to help improve our students’ comprehension, reading, fluency, and writing across all content areas.

As a school community, we will strive to improve our training ground for learning, while building our capacity as well and for others.  This year at NMBM, we are taking the necessary steps to enhance our academics through engaging lessons and depth of knowledge. We will keep a laser focus on Literacy. We strive to improve relationships through more team building opportunities and student incentives. Each class is to provide a positive learning environment where we incorporate support systems that equip our students with communication skills that will minimize distractions and promote engagement.

We encourage students to get involved with the extracurricular activities of the school. This will help to ensure that your child will have a total and rewarding middle school experience.
